Boire un thé au Japon prend une dimension très forte. Plus qu'un art de vivre, c'est un culte fondé sur l'admiration du Beau parmi les vulgarités de l'existence quotidienne. Cette philosophie se traduit par une cérémonie extrêmement codifiée, le "Cha No Yu", qui se déroule dans un lieu précis et dont chaque geste doit être soigneusement observé.
Une tasse à thé ou un bol à thé (Chawan) ne se choisit pas par hasard. Ils font partie des objets du rituel du thé propre à chacun et leur manipulation participe au plaisir que l'on a de s'offrir un "moment thé" à soi, ou un moment de convivialité.
Around tea
Drink tea in Japan takes a very strong dimension. More than a lifestyle, it is a cult founded on admiration of the beautiful among the vulgarities of everyday existence. This philosophy is reflected in a highly codified ceremony, "Cha No Yu", which takes place in a specific place and whose every move must be carefully observed.

Yunomi
Il existe deux tailles de Yunomi :
Yunomi expresso :
Hauteur : 8 cm - Diamètre : 7 cm
Yunomi :
hauteur : 9,5 cm - Diamètre : 8 cm
Un Yunomi est une tasse japonaise, plus haute que large qui s'utilise pour boire thé du sencha ou du gyokuro au quotidien tout au long de la journée, contrairement au Chawan qui s'utilise uniquement durant le Cha-no-yu (cérémonie du thé japonais).
A Yunomi is a Japanese tea bowl, higher-than-wide cup that is used to drink sencha or gyokuro tea on a daily basis throughout the day, unlike Chawan, which is used only during the Cha-no-yu (ceremony of Tea).
